 The 186th St. Patrick's Day Parade will start at 10:15 am on March 17, 2010 after Mass at the Beautiful Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Over 400,000 people are expected to descend on Savannah (the world's 2nd largest parade). It will begin on Abercorn and Gwinnet Streets and wind through the city.

The AAUW and South Carolina Educators come together to discuss Working Together for Change. A slate of strong presenters will address the issues that confront South Carolina schools and more specifically females as they work through the system at the high school and university levels. The public is welcome to attend and participate in discussion.

“Thank You, Georgia O’Keefe,” an exhibit by award-winning photographer, Margaret Brennan, is on display in the JEA Art Gallery. Love Walk/Run by Wesley Centers

 The 2010 5K Love Run sponsored by Wesley Community Center will begin at the south end of Forsyth Park, at the corner of Park Ave. and Whitaker St. The course layout will be provided on race day along with signage to avoid confusion and there will be spotters along the way. Funds raised will support critical programs that directly impact women, children, and families who are struggling through poverty to find self sufficiency.
