Janice served as president of Keep Savannah Beautiful in the late 90’s and began YFACE as a way to share her passion for the environment with the city’s youngest citizens. Throughout the year the group – ages 5 through 25 -picks up litter from local beaches, removes debris from seniors’ yards and last May hosted their first Recycling Roundup at Lake Mayer.
A general clerk at the U.S. Post Office for the past 32 years, this green goddess spends her evenings and weekends raising the consciousness of the community’s “future inheritors.”
