J.C. “Chip” Grayson takes the sting out.

Although the former semi-pro football player and boxer promises he can still take a hit just fine, the mere thought of an encounter with a jellyfish brings him to his knees.

“It’s like 20-30 bee stings at once! I would think about it every time I went in the water,” shivers the Savannah born-and-bred CEO of Coastal Solutions, Inc.

After disproving the common wisdom of, um, tinkling on the affected area, he spent last summer formulating a remedy with the marine biologists at the Skidaway Oceanography Institute and has recently introduced Jellyfish Squish, a topical spray that stops the spread of the painful toxins.

“With global warming, there’s going to be more and more of these guys in the ocean. A bad sting can ruin a vacation - I want people to enjoy their time at the beach.”

What do you like best about reading skirt!?: Every woman I know reads it and loves it, including my wife and two daughters. It helps me tremendously to know what they’re thinking.

What do you like best about wearing a skirt?: At my age, it’s the only way to get any looks on the beach anymore!
