I can’t live without: Laughter and the ability to laugh at myself.

The world would be a better place, if only: We all had health insurance.

If I could do it all over again: I would have started saving for retirement at a much younger age.

Words I live by: “A belief in working with the head, hand and heart and mixing enough play with the work so that every task is pleasurable and makes for health and happiness.”

The most important thing I ever lost: Time with my sister and mother before they died.

The smartest woman I know: Isn’t a woman yet, she’s the daughter of one of my best friends. Her name is Wren. 

If I could be totally wild, I would: Buy a trawler and linger in every seaside port possible.

The food I could eat every day: Imported Italian cheese.

I still can’t get the hang of: Sharing a closet with another person.

Something most people don’t know about me:  I love to drive fast.

My family: Is about to get larger. I’m getting married this month after being divorced for over 13 years. This is my second marriage (his first). 

My work: Combines a passion for the food and beverage industry and a strong belief in building community networks.

My passion: Is food, all types, especially the kind you eat with your hands.

My favorite possession: Is my passport.

My hometown: As a young person, Huntington, WV and Kingsport, TN.  As an adult, Ithaca, NY.
