Shannon S. Scott tells spooky stories.

The owner and principle guide of Sixth Sense Savannah makes his living scaring the bejeebus out of those brave enough to take his tour of the city’s haunted hotspots, calling his chosen profession “a goth kid’s dream come true.” The former Midwesterner has never had any qualms hanging around graveyards: “My first job was as the caretaker of an old cemetery.” Combining his love of history with a mischievous sense of the macabre, Shannon breathes life back into long-forgotten legends and claims personal interactions with a few of the local poltergeists. He recently hosted and produced a documentary about Savannah called “America’s Most Haunted City,” and leads midnight marsh walks on Oatland Island aided by the “geeky gadgets” employed by professional parapsychologists. What motivates him to champion the creepy and the cosmic? “The dead are the ultimate underdogs. They need us—who else will tell their stories?”

The best thing about wearing a skirt: How good I make it look.
His favorite thing about reading skirt!:  The only thing that fascinates me more than ghosts are women, and I’ve yet to find a ghost who will go out with me!
