24/7 with Stephanie Duke, Halo Model & Talent Agency, Savannah, GA
My
work: Placing
models and actors in print and television, or with agencies in large markets.
My passion: The ocean. It’s so beautiful, loving and accepting to
all, regardless of physical appearances.
My
favorite possession: My three surf boards.
I’m
thinking about: A way to reach the women of this city to help them realize that God sees
them as beautiful and they should see themselves that way too!
Words
I live by: Love
others, regardless. Who are we to judge?
I
can’t live without: The sand between my toes.
I am most proud of: Thewomen that have
grown emotionally through the classes I teach.
One
thing I never want to do again: Work with a stage mom.
I
am guilty of: Lovingmy models and talent too much. I take them on as my own.
Right
now I’m reading: Captivating by John and Stasi Eldridge.
Favorite
web site: halosavannah.com.
My
theme song: “Alive and Kickin’” by Simple Minds.
The
food I could eat every day: Sweet fried plantains.
If
I were a superheroine I would be: My mom, Dusty…with a cape.
The
most important thing I ever lost: My sense of respectability. For a time, I tried to
conform but I’ve found being true to who you are is the only way to be.
The
best thing I ever won: Miss Congeniality in high school.
My
best friend says I am: Self-motivated, but easily distracted.
I
still can’t get the hang of: Math.
I
wish I’d known: That guys DO like women with curves! Being curvy is OK!
The
world would be a better place, if only: We would realize that everyone wants to be
successful.
I’d
like to learn to: More Spanish.
Something
most people don’t know about me: I’ve been to all lower 48 states.
My
mother always said: “A little lace with the denim, dear.”
The
smartest woman I know: My grandmother on my dad’s side – she’s still teaching at 83 years old.
My
first job: A
record store.
What
are you most vain about? My ability to know a star when I see them.
Always...Say “thank you.”
Never...
Apologize (over
and over and over again.)
