Welcome to my steering wheel!
I had to drive out all the way to Tybee Island and back this morning to cast my ballot (forgot to update my voter registration -der!), which translates to ten minutes in the car for every second spent in the voting booth (and I’m old enough to prefer hanging chads to this touch-screen nonsense!) But no matter, it was time well spent.
If you’re still on the fence on who’s the best candidate, take a look at Erica Jong’s cut-to-the-bone essay in The Washington Post, “Hillary and the Patriarchy.”
btw, I’ve loved Erica since reading my mother’s copy of Fear of Flying when I was ten. (I know, racy, but I was very precocious.) Maybe Hill will bring her on as VP :)?
I know we’ll all be up way past our bedtimes tonight seeing how it all plays out...
