Here’s a photo of our candidate from her Tuesday evening visit with voters at Caesar Chavez High School in Phoenix, AZ:
What’s completely awesome about this photo is that is was taken by my dad, who volunteers for Hillary’s campaign along with my mother, and apparently he snuck himself and his big ol’ camera into the press section. Such chutzpah, that guy. At least I know where I get it.
He’s quite a photographer as it is, and of course he got some classic shots that night. This one says so much about how much we owe the women of the past for our current freedoms:
This lady was around when we got the right to vote – do you think she feels elated that there’s finally a woman on the presidential ballot or is she just saying to herself “It’s about frickin’ time!”?
And I know we all hope this girl will make smarter choices once she’s old enough to vote:
Plus, my mother, who taught me everything I know about interviewing, struck up a conversation with the woman behind her who claimed she was Chelsea’s nanny when Bill was the governor of Arkansas. And guess what? She says HE got up at night to change diapers.
My folks are so skirt!, dontcha think?
