The 24-year-old New York native wasn’t looking to own Dimensions Gallery on MLK Boulevard near downtown Savannah, but while exploring the idea of running the space for someone else, it occurred to her that she could do it all by herself.

“I wrote a business plan, found investors and got started,” says the SCAD graduate, who honed her chops at the Delilah Gallery in Manhattan. She opened Dimensions last June and runs it with the help of student volunteers who earn course credit while learning the business of art.

Rather than simply rent the space and take a commission, Dimensions offers a bevy of services to help up-and-coming artists break out, from creating marketing materials to hiring a DJ for the opening event. Cryselle brims with energy for all the untapped talent yet to be discovered.
