My family: My wonderful three kids and a grandson that I adore!

My work: Is my passion, and that’s music.

My favorite possession: A pin that I found in my mom’s button box with a picture of my father at age 5 with my grandfather.

My hometown: A typical “Archie Bunker” street in Queens, NY where we never locked our doors.

I’m thinking about: How the world has changed since then.

Words I live by: If you come from love, you can never be wrong!

I can’t live without: Music.

I am most proud of: My children – they are such an asset to this world.

What keeps me awake at night: My dog. She’s always trying to get on my pillow!

One thing I never want to do again: Be unprepared.

I am guilty of: Sometimes wanting to control the situation.

Right now I’m reading: The Choice by Nicholas Sparks.

The one item that changed my life: Our piano. I sang and played every day on it with my father.

Last major purchase: Is the house I’m living in now.

If I had a vanity plate on my car, it would say: I AM LOVED.

If I could do it all over again: I would.

My favorite body part: My legs.

The food I could eat every day: Pasta. I make the BEST meatballs.

If I were a superheroine I would be: Saint Therese.

The most important thing I ever lost: My virginity.

My best friend says I am: Her best friend!

I still can’t get the hang of: My computer.

I wish I’d known: How connected we all are and how fabulous other women are – I know it now!

The world would be a better place, if only: We would think of ourselves as being one and view the world as a positive place.

Something most people don’t know about me: People see me onstage and think I’m outgoing, but I’m really very shy!

My mother always said: When you’re smiling you always look pretty.

The worst idea I’ve ever had: I once wanted to be a nun!

The smartest woman I know: I’ve never met her, but I’m a big Oprah fan. Not only is she smart, she’s kind, spiritual and giving.

What are you most vain about? My weight.
