Emo Ouchie Remedy

“Nothing cures life’s little emotional boo-boos like a chocolate Band-Aid from Wright’s Square Cafe. I think they should come in body-sized versions for break-ups.”

Something Fishy?

“I love serving up maguro on my new ceramic sushi set from Kitchenware Outfitters. Sure, I take out from Hirano’s in Styrofoam, but shh, everyone thinks I’m in the kitchen slicing up fish!”

Never Judge a Book by Its Cover Is So Passe

My love of the moment comes in the form of a 601 paged paper-back monster known as the 2002 Centennial Edition of John Steinbeck’s “East of Eden.”   And while content ultimately rules, I can’t help but be drawn to the gorgeous antiqued detailing on the cover and the uneven parchment pages.   It makes a gal like myself, who is always drawn into the visual aesthetics of life, happy to tote around a book so big every single day.
